Patient Testimonials

  •  was referred to St. Luke’s for chronic lower – back pain post hypoplastic procedure. I couldn’t do much of anything, when I tried, the pain would flare  up after 10 – 15 minutes. After fifteen PT sessions, I can do all households chores, some fishing, and long walks. The St. Luke’s PT team is top-notch. Cedrick set me up with the proper treatment regimen and after ten sessions, I was mostly pain free.

  • I was referred to St. Luke’s Physical Therapy for shoulder pain and lack of movement. I couldn’t reach upper shelves and it was hard to reach the left side of my body. I was not able to tuck the back of my shirt into my pants. After four weeks of physical therapy sessions, I got more movement without pain. This is the second time I needed physical therapy from St. Luke’s, and on both times the staff were always nice and helpful. They really helped me a lot.

  • Bone on bone”, I was not able to walk for very long and that made it very hard for me to do everyday activities. I wasn’t referred to St. Luke’s, but I chose them after reading remarks and reviews from the website. The usual tasks from the therapists each week for six weeks were very effective for rehabilitation. I have total and complete gratitude for the therapists and tech aides for getting me back to a better quality of life and be able to do activities I haven’t been able to do for a long time. I’m impressed with the facility and will definitely recommend St. Luke’s to others. Awesome place with awesome people!

My impaired mostly sleeping and lifting overhead. After my therapy, I can now do common tasks such as washing my hair and getting myself dressed. The therapy was hard, but the wonderful staff made it a much better experience.

  • When Nathan tore his ACL we were instantly overwhelmed with the pressure of making the best decisions concerning his care. St. Luke’s proved to be an excellent choice and had an invaluable impact on his recovery. Nathan has been consistently ahead of typical recovery times. Nathan is 12 years old and needed a therapist to encourage and educate him at his level. Every person involved in his care at St. Luke’s worked to make his experience positive. Every question we had was answered. There was not a time that Nathan dreaded coming therapy. When Nathan completed his therapy he began doing the injury prevention program with the Competitive Athlete program. Nathan loves being a part of this program and he is doing wonderful and playing basketball again. St. Luke’s has been an incredible blessing and support to our family. We are so grateful for this place.

  • I had surgery on my right shoulder to remove a bone spur off and remove calcium from the bone. I was unable to do regular house work, sweeping, mopping, making bed, do dishes, get dressed, and tie shoes without being in a lot of pain. I received various types of treatment while in therapy at St. Luke’s some of them are: exercises, stretching, heat, and ice. I did therapy for 6 weeks and did 12 visits. I am still healing and working to get my strength back in my arm and shoulder. I am now able to do all the things I was unable to do before therapy. I continue to progress and get stronger each day. I picked St. Luke’s Rehab Center because they understand what kind of therapy I need to get better. The staff is very kind and no matter what kind of pain I was in when I came in I lift with my spirits lifted knowing I could get through this. I keep coming back because of the compassion and care of the staff to their patients.

    - Post-Surgical Rehab Patient
  • I had rotator cuff surgery and had to begin physical therapy after surgery so that is why I came to St. Luke’s. When I came to St. Luke’s I was unable to lift or move my arm and shoulder in normal fashion. I was treated with exercises, stretching, massage, heat, and ice during my therapy. I did therapy for 4 months and came 3 times a day. I am now able to move my shoulder and arm without pain, use it on a regular basis, reach behind my back, and lift my arms in the air. The people at St. Luke’s are awesome and do a wonderful job with their patients. They go the extra mile for their patients and I am so thankful for St. Luke’s.
