I had surgery on my right shoulder to remove a bone spur off and remove calcium from the bone. I was unable to do regular house work, sweeping, mopping, making bed, do dishes, get dressed, and tie shoes without being in a lot of pain. I am now able to do all the things I was unable to do before therapy. I continue to progress and get stronger each day.
I had rotator cuff surgery and had to begin physical therapy after surgery so that is why I came to St. Luke’s. When I came to St. Luke’s I was unable to lift or move my arm and shoulder in normal fashion. I am now able to move my shoulder and arm without pain, use it on a regular basis, reach behind my back, and lift my arms in the air.
